Privacy Policy

TallyPage Software Inc · Last updated June 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how TallyPage Software Inc ("TallyPage", "we") collects, uses and protects information when you use the TallyPage application (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

  • Account information – name, email address, password (stored hashed) and, if you choose to provide it, a mobile phone number.
  • Store data – store name and address, shift reports, lottery inventory and sales, vendors, invoices, bank and cash records that you or your staff enter.
  • Billing information – handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We store only the subscription status and the last four digits / brand of the card.
  • Usage information – log data such as IP address, browser type, pages used and timestamps, used for security and to improve the Service.
  • Images you upload – e.g. photos of lottery terminal reports for OCR; they are used only to extract the figures for your report.

2. How we use information

  • To provide, operate and secure the Service and your account.
  • To send verification codes, shift-report notifications and account alerts you have requested (see Section 4).
  • To process subscription payments and send billing notices.
  • To respond to support requests and to improve the Service.

3. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract – hosting and database providers, Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS/WhatsApp delivery) and email delivery providers – or when required by law. Store data is visible only to the store owner and the users the owner has added.

4. Mobile messaging (SMS and WhatsApp)

If you enter a mobile number and consent in Settings, we send one-time verification codes, shift-report notifications and account alerts by WhatsApp or SMS. Mobile information and SMS/WhatsApp opt-in consent will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties except our messaging provider (Twilio) for the purpose of delivering the messages. You can opt out at any time by removing your number in Settings or replying STOP. Details are in our SMS & WhatsApp Messaging Terms.

5. Data retention

We keep store data for as long as your account is active so that historical reports remain available. You may request deletion or export of your data by emailing us; we delete or anonymise personal information within 30 days unless we must retain it for legal or billing reasons.

6. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in access-controlled databases. Passwords are hashed. Access to production systems is limited to authorised personnel.

7. Your choices and rights

You can update your profile and phone number in Settings, change your password, and remove staff users at any time. Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information – contact us to exercise them.

8. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date above shows the current version. Material changes will be announced in the application.
